Hey Relokate Family
This week we are not meeting on Thursday night because we are going to the Song of Solomon Conference at James River on Friday & Saturday, April 24th & 25th. If you are interested in going to the conference call 1-800-729-0815 to purchase a ticket. If you are going and would like to sit with Chad and Vanessa meet them at the Braum’s (by James River) at 6pm on Friday. If you have any questions please contact Chad at chad.lengyel@fbclife.org.

Relokate is canceled for tonight April 16th, because Chad is sick.  Next week we are not meeting on Thursday the 23rd because we are going to the Song of Solomon Conference at James River on the 24th & 25th.  If you would like a ticket for the conference call 1-800-729-0815.

There will not be Relokate this Thursday, April 9th because of Easter Break.  The next time we will meet is April 16th for worship.

Common Meal, Thursday, April 2nd at the CSC at 7pm.

Common Meal is a time for the entire Relokate family to get together and enjoy each others company over a meal. If you are able to come please bring an appetizer, main dish, side dish, or dessert that feeds at least 4 people.

No Relokate next week Thursday, March 26th because it’s spring break!

“Common Meal” is this Thursday night, March 5th at the CSC at 7pm. Bring something to share: appetizer, main dish, or dessert (needs to serve 4).

Due to the recent overwhelming response to the Round 4 concert and the limited space at the venue, we are making the following announcement:

We will be admitting people to this free concert on a “first-come, first-served” basis until we have reach our capacity of 75 people. We ask that you please plan accordingly if you are driving from out of town. Please keep in mind that there will be other local Round 4 concert opportunities coming up this year as well. We want this to be safe as well as fun. We thank you for you understanding in the matter. 

Doors will open at 7:30pm on Friday night.

Relokate is hosting a free Holy Hip Hop concert for the City on 1/30. 

The Hip Hop community is something that is influencing other sub-cultures in America.

Clothes, vocabulary, style, and values in the suburban and even rural areas are feeling the effects of Hip Hop and all things urban.

It is time the Church take notice of this influence especially among young people and try to understand how the Gospel intersects with the Hip Hop community.

Relokate is taking some first steps in that direction by hosting this concert. These guys want to use the influence of Hip Hop for a positive end and to explain on a street level just how valuable knowing Jesus Christ really is.

There will be a “talk-back session” after the concert and we will take some questions from the audience live. 

We want to invite you to come and bring a carload of friends as we get rowdy with Round 4. 

Round 4 has given us permission to post couple of cuts on our blog for you to download for free before the concert. Enjoy them and feel free to leave a comment below.

We hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! As we jump into January there are 3 things you need to know about…

Love My Neighbor – Monday, Jan. 19th meet at the CSC @ 7pm to take blankets and hot coco to the homeless.

Worship – Thursday, Jan. 22nd meet at the CSC @ 7pm for a message, music, and communion.

Holy Hip Hop Concert – Friday, Jan. 30th meet at the CSC @ 8pm to hear “Round 4″ preform relevant music with a positive message.

These events provide great opportunities for you to contribute and get involved with Relokate and the community.
